Vayu Not So Turbo

This is basically my bwing food chain deck where there is virtually no way that i can't search with blackwhirlwind and cut down my deck size for faster draws.

My deck focuses on lvl 6 synchroing and bringing out vayu for a lvl 7 synchro then graveyard special summom. Not saying much but it works kinda like the traditional blackwings but is wayyy more situation as I am able to draw out more traps than other users and this format is totally about negating and destruction so I think I've chosen a good line-up with what I originally had. (you do not want to noes it was sooooooooooo horrible.)

The reason why I chose this sidedeck was for lp damage, destruction of swarms, prevent searching with whirlwind in mirror matches, graveyard control, bounce, annoy the hell outta people, and have a back up gale.

Rants

OMG i just hate today. don't you hate it when people just suck and say that their deck is hella good? We start the duel and the idiot opens with 3 pot of greeds and 2 graceful charities ...... ummm wth are you doing? i mean, i might as well just normal summon 5 darkstrikes with 2 dark creators in my hand and end the game.... seriously./.. some people have such a big ego when they can't do what they say... i mean like... wtf... you say you can beat me every single day but.... you loose... and don't give me that i win in tournaments shit either cuz ur only as good as ur competition that you see everyday... it's not good enough beating your friends or some weak people cuz they weak... now let's cool down and enjoy the rest of the night :)

I know the new SJC champ is a blackwing vayu turbo duelist but don't let that make you disband the original blackwing deck and start going for something new; you just might have something that'll improve it:

Blackwings New Format = Slowings but my version is Controlwings

Hey guys, now that the new format is up blackwings will have major drawbacks to using them since many cards like thunder king rai-oh can easily stop our black whirlwinds as our opponents wait for a MST or heavy storm.


I'd like to present my new blackwings deck list for this new format in response to the ban list and explain my strategies to this format:

Monsters:

Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame x3
Basically, Shura is a must have for the deck, as a 1800 beat-stick, it has the ability to special summon a blackwing with 1500 or lower attack from your deck which is beneficial in drawing gale out faster especially when used in conjunction with blackwing - kalut the moon shadow since you don't have to force your own shura to attack into a trap. Summoning a blackwing - mistral the silver shield with this strategy is also a viable option during your opponent's turn when they have oppression because it acts as a temporary lp protector. Your opponent is then forced to either use oppression for 800 lp or attack into it and not do any damage to your lps. Since mistral is a graveyard effect.

Blackwing - Mistral the Silver Shield x2
This is the only blackwing with the highest defense. Although it cannot do any damage and can be destroyed easily, it's effect helps protect your lps without the use of a trap card for one attack which can make a difference between surviving and using your next turn to turn the tide of the game. Arcanite magicians can easily destroy it but it's effect will kick in to save you when you need it. Besides, it's a level 2 tuner. What more can I say? Synchro Summon!!!!!!!!!!!

Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn x2
This card has one of the best effects in a game. It is often used to counter blackwing decks since it can add up all the attacks of blackwing monsters on the field and place it on one blackwing monster. This card is lvl 5 and can be normal summoned on your turn if you don't have any monsters while your opponent does. This is the second highest blackwing monster (not including synchros) in terms of attack points which means it works well in conjunction with black whirlwind. This card can be combined with Blackwing - Bora the Spear for major piercing damage or with Blackwing- Fane the Steel Chain for major direct damage. Often times this card can generate otks. The drawback is not even significant when you can otk or do a crap load of damage. However, this card at 2 is more effective in a blackwing deck since you swarm so often, you will almost never have an open field which means you have to tribute to summon this card.

Blackwing - Bora the Spear x3
This is a 1700 atk monster that can be special summoned. Extremely important for field swarm and piercing damage. Easily tunable with gale and other blackwing tuners. This card is fast as ****.

Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow x3
Instant increase of 1400 atk points for your blackwings during damage step. If gale cuts the attack, your other blackwings combined with discarding this card can do a LOT of damage. IT can surprise your opponents throughout the entire game; it is a must have. IF you're desperate, you can search out gale with this card for a quick lvl 6 synchro monster.

Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind
Even though this card is limited to one, the ability to permanently cut atks in half is a lifesaver during games. Sure it might seem crappy to have this card at one but you'll need it start getting rid of those cards that swarm so fast. Plus, it's a lvl 3 tuner so just take out Black Rose if anything is getting out of hand.

Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North x2
This card is an instant lvl 6 synchro or if you have kalut out, just bring back another kalut for a lvl 8 synchro. This card is like your monster reborn for blackwings, with this, you can continuously reuse gale throughout your duels whenever you want to. It's ok at 2 but don't go to 3 because this can be dead draws in the beginning.

Battlestorm
THIS IS YOUR BREAKER with renewable effect and good attack. It gains 100 atk points for every winged beast monster on your side of the field and blackwings can swarm fast so you should be able to destroy your opponent's backrow for a few turns with this card.

Gravekeeper's Guard x2
This card is great defense and can bounce back a card to your opponent's hand, extremely good for field advantage and clearing the field for direct attacks for your blackwings.

Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer x2
What more can I say? Many cards activate in the graveyard like treeborn frogs for the monarchs. Controlling your opponent's graveyard is essential for this format because of the reliance on call of the haunted as a means to bring cards back; it can seriously inhibit your opponents if used correctly. It can even remove stardusts and other annoying cards your opponent can bring back.

The Dark Creator x2
This is the most important card for this deck. The limitations to certain dark synchro monsters are not as significant if you can remove one dark monster to bring it back. It can help revive the Blackwing Armor Master when you need it and keep it's effect and bring back plenty of other cards that may have gotten destroyed. 2x of this card is a must for this format as your cards are easily destroyed and taken by DD warrior lady and you need more monsters as your deck is running out of good monsters.

Magic:

Black Whirlwind x3
This is a must for blackwing decks to maintain hand advantage, to swarm faster, and is always beneficial when you need it (adding kalut to your hand). Be careful about when you activate this card in this format because an arcanite magician or a breaker can easily destroy your best searcher.

Brain Control
At the cost of 800 lps, it is one of the many cards needed for a good deck. You can easily take your opponent's card and use their tuner or their monster for a quick synchro summon.

Mystical Space Typhoon
Basic Staple, can chain and can destroy any magic or trap on the field.

Cold Wave
Can protect your blackwings and allow shura to use it's effect to full advantage when using thing card as it prevents your opponent from successfully placing or using spells and traps for a turn or 2.

Heavy Storm
Staple. Destroy all spell and trap cards when you need to or lure out your opponent's only solemn judgement.

Book of Moon
Allow Bora to pierce more or to stop attacks and have advantage over low defense monsters or even to protect against cards that destroy face-up monsters.

Giant Trunade
A must need for this format to not only protect your black whirlwind but it can force your opponent to either use cards in their backrow or help you avoid their traps.

Swords of Revealing Light
Stall for 3 turns until you get the right cards and prevents attacks. Can be combined with giant trunade to stall longer because this format is totally ridiculous and you need to stop the heavy hitters.

Against the Wind
Only need one. It's for strategic use to bring back any single blackwing you need at the cost of your lifepoints. It's very situational which makes it good for this format.

Traps:

Icarus Attack x3
It's very important that this card is at 3 because you will need to use it to clear your opponent's field as soon as possible or you're screwed. It can stop dd warrior ladies and other stuff because you would rather sacrifice a armor master than have it removed from play right?

Mirror of Oaths
Only need a 1. Some people might use searchers like Mother Grizzly and Shining Angel to get cards out like DD warrior lady or treeborn frog so we need to stop it. Most likely, it will happen less so we only need 1.

Threatening Roar
Only kept at 1. Some might say it sucks for this format but it can totally prevent annihilation by mass summoning of dd warrior ladies comboed with burden of the mighty.

Call of the Haunted
To replace monster reborn but it sucks since it can only reborn your own monsters.

Torriental Tribute
Gotta get those annoying monsters off the field even if you risk your own right?

Extra Deck

Colossal Fighter
Extremely good against warrior decks which will be coming out and can revive itself when destroyed by battle. Good in conjunction with the dark creator since it is a dark type.

Stardust Dragon
Not as important in this deck but it can come in handy when your opponent uses a lot of destruction cards like breaker since stardust can negate and destroy. This is a staple but you will only need 1.

Gaia Knight, The Force of the Earth
Level 6. It can be summoned through blizzard.

Powertool Dragon
Just in case you run out of lvl 7s and for synchro luxury.

X-Saber Urbellum
Important against those monarch decks if you ever slow them down because you can force them to dead draw a LOT.

Blackwing Armor Master
A must since it cannot be destroyed by battle and can help defeat higher lvl monsters.

Black Rose Dragon
Can help clear the field when your opponent has too much advantage over you

Blackwing Armed Wing
Basically, a stronger version of Bora

Iron Chain Dragon
Many essential cards are limited to 1 so Iron Chain can help you get rid of cards your opponent needs and make their decks more inconsistent. I would even recommend use against lightsworns because if you use all out attacks in you deck, this can can force crazy mills but making wulf attack it plus, it can destroy those annoying charges lightsworn players use.
